Event Canvas Canada Presents Peter Beets, Chopin Meets the Blues
Friday, May 23, 2025
This special performance invites you into an elegant dialogue between classical form and jazz improvisation.
Opening with Chopin’s lyrical themes, the Peter Beets Trio transforms these romantic phrases through the language of blues and swing. Each movement becomes a conversation — between tradition and spontaneity, between discipline and groove.
At the heart of the evening is Chopin Meets the Blues, a musical experience that honours the original spirit while setting it free to explore.
Peter Beets, one of Europe’s most acclaimed jazz pianists, brings this vision to life with his signature touch — rich in lyricism, rhythm, and emotion.
We invite you to share in this rare musical dialogue. Experience it live — in the intimacy of Bella Concert Hall.
